This project expresses the architect's vision of marrying materials used in the space within the decorative lighting fixtures. The pendants are made of Plyboo bamboo veneer overlaid onto an acrylic cylindrical drum with the addition of white acrylic top and bottom lenses. Each pendant houses (2) 24 watt, T5HO linear fluorescent lamps to give a warm glow from the Plyboo drum on the vertical plane, while the illumination provided to the horizontal plane from the white acrylic visually highlights the space and materials used. The drum diffuser is 30" diameter x 28" high. Trim, stem and mounting canopy can be available in any one of Visa's standard powder coat paint or custom colors.
