GIG is Awarded Nightingale Gold
Presented by Healthcare Design and Contract in partnership with The Center for Health Design, the Nightingale Awards recognize contribution to the healthcare built environment through product design and innovation that contributes to healing. Named after Florence Nightingale, the awards recognize a product’s contribution to the healing environment as well as its functionality, durability, quality, aesthetics and style, and pricing.
Gig is the first task light designed for behavioral health applications. With a IK10+ (100 joules) high abuse impact rating, an impact resistant polycarbonate lens, and anti-ligature construction, this compact task light is designed for patient and caregiver safety. Control task lighting easily with fixture-touch controls for on, off, and 50% output, or through standard 0-10V lighting controls. More importantly, its minimalist, attractive design and high quality illumination provide visual comfort for patients and staff.
