Outdoor pendant lighting has long created freedom for open spaces, and now Visa Lighting equips designers with even more freedom: 18 new models in three outdoor pendant families.
Even with the acceleration of LED, outdoor pendant choices have remained quite limited. Specifiers of outdoor markets (civic, architainment, education, hospitality, retail) have long asked for more versatile lighting solutions, so this was a clear next step for Visa Lighting. The Wisconsin based manufacturer, well known for high quality standards and innovative pendant design, is ready to produce unmatched luminaires for those underserved markets.
Whether in parks, atriums, boardwalks, downtown marketplaces, campus walkways, courtyards, amusement parks, dining areas, entryways, bridges, event venues for concerts and weddings – the list goes on and on – these luminaires can go virtually anywhere people gather outside. Catenary lighting offers wide ranging design flexibility since cables can span large areas without additional poles blocking sightlines and walking paths.
For this launch, Sequence, Zume Out and Laterna are available in two mounting configurations: catenary (strung by cable between two structural points) or canopy (mounted to a junction box like standard indoor pendants). All three are ETL wet location listed and IP65 rated. To ensure long life in rigorous outdoor environments, all catenary models were successfully tested for vibration in accordance with ANSI C136.31: American National Standard for Roadway and Area Lighting Equipment. The launch also includes a comprehensive Catenary Design Guide and several optional accessories. These luminaires are ready to impress.

Sequence: First, for ultimate versatility in outdoor spaces, Visa Lighting has expanded their most popular family, Sequence. The new outdoor pendant Sequence is available in White LED, with high and low output options, or RGB, 4" and 8" diameters, and 3 different lengths – a range that exemplifies this launch’s focus on flexibility. Unlike other catenary luminaires, Sequence fixtures do not have to hang in a standard perpendicular orientation. For example, a dual catenary design would allow these luminaires to be hung horizontally or at angles. Imagine a bright, linear repetition of the same clean fixture, or a crisscross pattern of blue and green.
